The names of close to 50 composers line the Hatch Memorial Shell, in honour of the composers of pieces which have been performed by the Boston Pops Orchestra at this venue.
The Boston Pops Orchestra's performance at 4 July 1776, the USA's bicentennial Independence Day: Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture performed with canons, fireworks, and church bells. Conducted by Arther Fiedler.
