This portion of the map features the rather large advertisement by HP Gas. Note that it is written in both English and “Hinglish” but features Indian persons, and so is aimed towards a multilingual Mumbaikar community.

A portion of the map capturing southern Mumbai. There exists many features of this area, but the icons marking the locations of HP Gas dealers stand out as being significantly larger, less we forget the true intent of this map’s distribution.

This portion of the map communicates the diversity of Mumbai as a result of an increasingly globalized world. Note the numerous different religious institutions in the area and the alternating between English and “Hinglish” for location names.
