It was from the Old North Church that Paul Revere received his signal that the British were approaching "by sea" across the Charles River. Paul Revere was then able to ride to warn Adams and Hancock of the impending British arrival.

Designed by architect Alexander Rice Esty, this stands as the centerpiece of the church behind it's main alter. The statue shows symbols from throughout Christianity.
