The aquarium gave rise to a new neighborhood with its own unique culture. Seen here, seafood restaurants, outdoor seating, and hotels now line the wharf in true harbor side style.

Chairs line the harborwalk behind the aquarium. Pedestrians can use the walkway and the chairs without having to pay admission to the museum. Once again, the chairs provide views of the harbor and Logan Airport.

A public plaza along the Boston Harborwalk on neighboring Long Wharf. The plaza has benches with views of the harbor, and East Boston and Logan Airport.
