South End Burying Ground: A Study of Paradoxes

The South End Burying Ground was established in 1810 and is located on the narrow strip of marshland, Roxbury Neck, in the South End. While it appears to be a site where the prosperous were laid to rest, it is actually known as a working man's burying ground.
