Below is a map of the five sites that we've just explored throughout Moscow.
Thank you for joining me on this tour of the World War II commemorative sites of Moscow. While Russia has done a good job of making sure that their efforts in the war are known throughout future generations, we should be very critical of the way they go about doing so and what their motives are. The lasting effects of war should not be detrimental to the overall morale of its people, but instead encourage patriotism. While we have seen efforts to represent other groups, the Russian institution must start doing its part. Lastly, while it is all good and well to take pride in victory, it is wrong to take full credit for what the United States did in helping their efforts. Overall, there's some work to be done when it comes to the representation of the war in Russia.
